Our Story
How did we
get here?
Digital Mapping Group (Discovery Management Group, LLC) started with a simple observation: field crews were being asked to build authoritative GIS records with consumer-grade GPS, expensive survey rentals, or paper. High-accuracy GNSS had become affordable and easy to use—it just needed someone to configure it, connect it to the software crews already run, and stand behind it. Hardware, corrections, and software that work together on day one.
Our in-house hardware/software engineering team designs and builds unique FastRTK base stations, iOS/Android data collection apps, and provides GIS/GNSS-related managed services across North America.
We partner with North American hardware/software manufacturers like Eos Positioning Systems, Laser Technology, Esri, and others to provide the best high-accuracy solutions to our customers.
The result is that every every kit ships configured and tested. Training and support from people who have been in the field.
Our workshops, webinars, and one-on-one onboarding cover high-accuracy GNSS fundamentals, datums and coordinate systems. We are experts at Esri mobile workflows.
